About Teacher Jan

Teacher Jan is a passionate and experienced math tutor with over 13 years of full-time teaching and 11 years of math curriculum development. After working in well-established tuition centers, she started Math With Jan in 2021 to provide students with a more engaging and effective learning experience. Her goal is not just to help students pass exams but to nurture their love for math and equip them with critical thinking skills.

Teacher Jan’s teaching style is positive, patient, and fun. She understands that each student learns differently and takes the time to ensure they fully understand concepts. Her engaging approach makes learning math an enjoyable process.

Math Curriculum

Our proprietary curriculum is fully aligned with the Ministry of Education (MOE) guidelines, ensuring that your child is on track with the school’s math program. We cover all key topics from Primary 1 to Primary 6, including fractions, decimals, geometry, and more.

Problem-solving questions are critical from P3 to P6, and they make up the majority of the marks in math exams. Our curriculum goes beyond simple memorization — we focus on developing conceptual understanding.
